Green fingered volunteers wanted

If you're a parent or carer of a student at Whitefield and have a garden fork or spade and some free time on Sunday March 8th, Dawn Groome would like to hear from you. 

Dawn has been leading a group of volunteers who have been bashing Whitefield's new allotment into shape. They did an excellent job of clearing it late last year, as you can see:

Now she is looking for people willing to help dig it over so that the students can begin spring planting.

The work will take place between 10am and 4pm weather permitting and refreshments will be provided.
