It's not always easy to find half-term activities, so we've compiled a a little list of providers and activities that it might be worth looking at. Many thanks to our friends at Waltham Forest Parents Forum who originally gathered much of this information.
Don't forget - if you find a really good activity, or a helpful organisation that we don't have listed tell us about it by mailing news@whitefield.waltham.sch.uk
General events for young people in Waltham Forest
The London Borough of Waltham Forest Winter Days (pdf) brochure provides a good directory of mainstream events and goings-on up until the end of February. This is a mainstream resource, however so it is worth phoning first to see whether they can accommodate your child's needs.
The Borough has recently reorganised its childrens services Web into a childrens service directory.
- The home page for children with special educational needs and disability (The 'Local Offer' page) can be found here: http://walthamforest.childrensservicedirectory.org.uk/kb5/walthamforest/fsd/localoffer.page
- The directory of organisations offering short breaks is here
- And the listing of all services are here
