This term Whitefield Schools welcomed its new Vice Principal, Evelina Dimopoulou, taking over from Laura Pease who is now Principal.
Evelina, has a wealth of knowledge and experience thanks to her 13 years in education, working as everything from teaching assistant to Headteacher. She has just completed her PhD in autism, which builds upon her MA in the same subject.
At Whitefield Evelina will be working across the school, but with particular responsibility for assessment, looked after children and transport issues.
“I’m delighted to be here! I knew of Whitefield in the past and I was attracted by Whitefield’s innovative and visionary leadership, its positive attitude and commitment to the learning of every child. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been chosen to build upon the success the school has already achieved.” she said.
