We had one A-Level student this year and we are absolutely delighted that she has gained 3 A-levels in English language, French and Sociology. Mahsa has conducted her studies through the medium of Braille. Well done to Mahsa for all her hard work and determination.
Her achievements have been made possible through partnership with Highams Park School which is next door to us. Thanks to all the staff who have supported her over the years, including the Resources Department who have ensured her work has been transcribed into Braille, our mobility officers who have ensured she can travel between sites, the staff of Highams Park School and of courses all of our own staff. We wish Mahsa every success for the future.
We are also congratulating two pupils who have been awarded AS –Levels in Creative Writing and Philosophy. One pupil is severely sight impaired and the other Deafblind. Again these achievements have been made possible through our longstanding partnership with Highams Park School and through building on the solid foundations achieved through the years at Jospeh Clarke School.
The headteacher, Isobel Cox, is enormously proud of these individuals who have worked so hard; and the staff who have supported them over the years.
