Congratulations to our Jack Petchey Award winners

Four Whitefield Students received Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Awards at a packed award ceremony at the Assembly Halls in Waltham Forest, on Tuesday 10th November. Congratulations to each of them all for all their hard work. 

Oscar was nominated by his class mates and staff team for his dedication to music and his creative skills. Oscar created music for the Christmas concert and for assemblies. He is a good friend to his class mates and makes great jokes!

Ellie was nominated by her class mates and staff team for her hard work and enthusiasm. Her teachers described her as a pleasure to teach. Ellie was a great student representative on the student council. Ellie worked hard and completed her travel training to improve her independence. She is now at Project Search and is a role model to other students.

Banji was nominated by his staff team for his enthusiasm and cheerful character. Over the last two years Banji’s behaviour improved as he built good relationships with his staff. Banji is always cheerful and has a great sense of humour which everyone enjoys!

Khalique has been nominated by his class team and friends for being a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic student. Khalique enjoys helping out around school and always makes a special effort to talk to everybody about their favourite topics.
